Welcome to Astwood Esthetics

My name is Charlotte Astwood, and I’d love to share the story of how this passion began.

From a very young age, I was drawn to the world of beauty. I loved experimenting with makeup, pushing my creativity to the fullest, and creating different looks. At just 15 years old, this dream started to take shape when I enrolled in my very first makeup course in my home country, Venezuela. That experience sparked something in me—I continued practicing my techniques until I felt confident enough to create looks on others, starting with family and close friends.

As time went on, I pursued more courses in brows and lashes, earning certifications that allowed me to expand my skills. By the time I graduated high school, I was doing makeup for all of my friends, and even bridal looks for family members.

When I moved to the United States, I knew I wanted to dedicate myself fully to this industry and continue learning every single day. I began practicing brows on myself, slowly realizing how natural it felt and how beautiful the results were. With more practice, my confidence grew, and soon I was working on friends and seeing amazing transformations.

Determined to turn my passion into a lifelong career, I researched different paths and found Paul Mitchell School, where I applied and was accepted into the Esthetics program. This experience has been life-changing allowing me to gain knowledge, hands-on training, and the certification I needed to bring my dream to life.

Astwood Esthetics was born from that journey. My mission is to help every client feel confident, empowered, and the very best version of themselves. What started as a passion is now my business, and my future beauty salon—where artistry and care come together to create transformations that go far beyond the surface.
